Felt enthusiastic after reached Vadodara on Wednesday
The first batch of corona vaccine arrived at the Vaccine Institute at OP Road in Vadodara. However Parvesh Kumar Sharma, a native of Haryana, played the role of a real life hero by driving a special truck to deliver the vaccine.
Vaccination will start from January 16 in the state and before that the quantity of Corona vaccine Covishield was delivered to the headquarters in all the districts. Parvesh Kumar Sharma, who played a key role in delivering the vaccine said, he is a native of Haryana and have been doing truck driving for the last 11 years. So far he have been assigned the task of delivering on time. His job is to deliver super fast delivery and hence he was selected for that particular type of task.
Last night he was suddenly informed about to take a truckload of vaccines. He was thrilled to hear that so as his family who were overjoyed to know that he is going to several cities in Gujarat with the vaccine from Pune. The biggest surprise for this year was that he had to take the corona vaccine from the company and deliver it to the cities. On one hand, many people in the country have lost their lives due to Corona and they are eagerly awaiting for the vaccine. At that time he had the opportunity to take the corona vaccine from the company to various centers. He took the truck and left as soon as he was informed about the task.
Last night at 9 o’clock he left Pune with a vaccine truck and first reached Daman then Surat and now arrived at Vadodara. He reached Vadodara with the corona vaccine without stopping anywhere since yesterday. Right now his body is not feeling tired at all and after reached Vadodara Parvesh Kumar Sharma felt enthusiastic. He made a video call to his mother after came to the Vadodara Vaccine Institute to express his happiness. He expressed satisfaction that he had done something for the country.
A green corridor was created for the corona vaccine to reach the center immediately. With the arrival in Vadodara the vaccine truck was escorted by two PCR vans through the traffic.
