Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya has won hearts beyond the cricket field after winning a $100,000 (approximately ₹95 lakh) prize in a challenge hosted by popular YouTuber MrBeast.
In the challenge, Hardik competed against MrBeast in a baseball home-run contest, despite revealing that he had never played the sport before. The Indian all-rounder impressed everyone by hitting three balls out of the stadium and defeating MrBeast to win the prize money.However, the biggest highlight came after his victory. Instead of keeping the entire prize money, Hardik decided to donate it to charitable causes supporting underprivileged children and animal welfare.
The amount was directed towards organisations including ADAPT and Community Streeties India, which work for social welfare and the care of stray animals.
The video also featured several international sporting stars, including basketball legend LeBron James, footballer Erling Haaland, gymnast Simone Biles and Indian YouTuber CarryMinati.
Hardik’s impressive performance in an unfamiliar sport, followed by his decision to donate the winnings, has attracted widespread attention on social media.
