Vadodara Police formed a Zone 4 level team to assist in investigation of the murder of Heena Pethani

Vadodara Police formed a Zone 4 level team to assist in investigation of the murder of Heena Pethani, mother of Shivansh who was found near Swaminarayan Gaushala in Pethapur, Gandhinagar. She was strangled to death by her lover in their house in Vadodara. The offence is registered in Bapod Police station and the Zone 4 level teams will assist the PI in investigation of the crime.

Earlier on Sunday Gandhinagar district police took the accused Sachin to the Darshanam Oasis flat at Khodiyarnagar in Vadodara, where the body was found in decomposed state by the investigating team. After investigation, the police took the accused to Gandhinagar and Vadodara police sent Heena's body to Sayaji Hospital for postmortem.

An innocent child Shivansh was found on the night of October 7 near Swaminarayan Gaushala in Pethapur, Gandhinagar. On October 8, the police came to know about it and started searching for his parents and found out that his father Sachin lives in Sector 26 of Gandhinagar. During interrogation he revealed to strangled the mother of the child as she insist him to staying with her. He then said to be placed the body somewhere in the kitchen and left for Gandhinagar.

"Sachin and Heena lives in Bopal area of Ahmedabad and met with each other. Later they moved to Vadodara one month ago and lives here. They are said to be in live in relationship and involved in frequent quarrels. The accused told Heena about moving back to his native place in Rajasthan and she insist him to stay with her and that lead to the murder as revealed in primary investigation. The kid was playing with mobile at the time of the incident," Said Lakdhirsinh Zala DCP Zone 4.

He further added that thr accused Sachin Dixit is presently in the custody of Gandhinagar police and Bapod police will get the custody after he present before the court. Police is further investigating in the matter.
