Showcause notice to school for not informing the DEO office
Offline education of class stopped as a student studying in Std-8 (E) at Navrachana School in Sama area of Vadodara has tested positive. The District Education Office has send notice to school for not informing the office. The office also issued circular to other schools for informing the parents in case of any students showing symptoms and done RTPCR test immediately to stop others get infected.
"The student was tested positive on last Friday and school stopped the offline classes of standard 8th. However a showcause notice was issued to school for not informing district office as part of their responsibility during this pandemic time. A circular is also issued to other schools for informing the parents in case of any students showing symptoms and done RTPCR test immediately to stop others get infected," said Navneet Mehta District Education Officer. He also request everyone to strictly follow the rules and wear mask and keep social distancing in crowded places.
The release from the school states, on Sunday, 12th December 2021 we were informed by the parent of one of our students that the student and his family member have tested positive for COVID -19.
As a precautionary measure and with abundant caution, offline classes for that class has been suspended for 4 days. However, online classes continue. The child and his family member are home quarantined with mild infection and are doing well. No new cases have been reported. The School adheres to all guidelines and protocols related to COVID appropriate behaviour for the safety of its students, staff and their families.
