Vaccine will be delivered to the centers of 7 districts of Central Gujarat including Vadodara city

Vaccination will start from January 16 across the country and state governments are started receiving the doses from the laboratories. The quantity of vaccine will reach Vadodara from Pune on Wednesday where Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi will welcome the vaccine at the Vaccine Institute on the OP road.

From here the vaccine will be delivered to the centers of 7 districts of Central Gujarat including Vadodara city. In Vadodara, 16,400 health workers have been allowed to take corona vaccine.

In Vadodara Vaccines will be given at Jamnabai Hospital, Kishanwadi Urban Health Center, Satyam Hospital Chani, Sukun Hospital, SSG, Yamuna Mill Urban Health Center, Maneja Urban Health Center Center, Sterling Hospital Ellorapark, BAPS Hospital, Vadodara. In the remaining 2 in East and three hospitals-urban health centers have been identified in north-south and west zones. of the east zone of Vadodara city, 3-3 . 320 vaccinators have been selected in Vadodara while 495 vaccinators will be working in Vadodara district. Of these centers, only SSG, Sterling, Baps Hospital and Tricolor Hospital have video conferencing facilities.

Each center will be allocated five employees for corona vaccine. One person who will probably be a nursing staff. In addition, four persons will be assigned as vaccination officers and cadets of Police Home Guard NSS, NCC.

In Vadodara city-district 26,838 Corona Warriors health workers will be vaccinated, but in addition 48,011 vaccines will go to the districts. Regional Director Dr. R.B. Pathak said the vaccines are calculated as 1.1 per cent waste. In addition an additional 10 percent of vaccines will be sent. Those who cannot be vaccinated will be given a second chance.
