Twist in Ahmedabad Dosa Death Case — Poison Found, Family Under Scanner
In the mysterious deaths of two girls, Raha and Mishri, in Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda area after consuming dosa, new developments have taken the investigation in multiple directions. Police have detected toxic substances, including aluminum phosphide and zinc, in the blood samples of the parents, who are currently under treatment.
During a search of the house, a diary belonging to the mother, Bhavana, was recovered. The diary reportedly mentions her desire for a son and references religious vows made before the birth of her younger daughter. This has raised suspicions about possible family pressures and motives.
Police are now probing all angles, including food contamination, suicide, or even foul play. Statements from food vendors suggest no issues with the batter, shifting focus toward domestic factors. The father also admitted to purchasing Celphos tablets, commonly used as pesticide, which is now a key point in the investigation.
Authorities are awaiting the forensic (FSL) and viscera reports, which are expected to provide clarity on the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, questioning of family members is ongoing.
