Vadodara SOG has exposed the Ganja business started by the educated trio after their business was shut down during the Corona period. Police , including a professor brother with a criminal past, whose business was shut down during the Corona period.  Police seized 1.815 kg of ganja worth Rs 18,000, cash, two mobile phones and a weighing machine worth Rs 49,250 from a trio selling it on Vasana Road. It may be mentioned that a week ago, a drug scam known as Meow, MD was exposed from Karelibaug.

As per details given by the SOG police officials, they received information about Adhyapak brothers Ashish and Somarsis lives in a rented house at 303 Ameya Complex on Vasana Road in the city, and their friend Parvez Mustafa Hasan Ajmeri brought Ganja from Rajasthan to sell in retail and wholesale. On the basis of this information, the team raided the spot and exposed the ganja business. They have arrested Adhyapak brothers Ashish Deepak Kumar, a native of Assam and currently a resident of 303 Ameya Complex on Vasana Road, Somerses Deepak Kumar and Parvesh Mustafa Hasan Ajmeri, a resident of Chutiwalni Limbdi in Nadiad.

Further details revealed that Ashish did his B.Tech Civil Engineering from Rajasthan University in 2011. After becoming an engineer, he traded in steel and pipes online.  During the Corona period, the business was shut down and he started selling ganja brought from a man named Akhil, who lives in Rajasthan.

B.Sc. in Somersis done his B.Com from Vadodara MS University. After graduating, he worked for the last one year in Guwahati, Assam, as a supervisor in a Civil Construction Company.  He came to Vadodara seven months ago during the Coronation period and started the ganja business with his brother Ashish.

While Parvez Ajmeri, a resident of Nadiad, did his B.Tech Civil engineer from Navrachana University on Bhayali Road in Vadodara. After becoming an engineer, he used to do civil work by filling tenders in the government.  He was working at check dam in Godhra.  During the Corona period, civil work ceased and he began working with the Adhyapak brothers and began selling ganja together.

The Adhyapak brother and their friend started the Ganja business when the business was closed during the Corona period. All the arrested have been handed over to the JP police and case under the Narcotics Act is registered against them. The police is is process for the Corona test of the accused and initiated legal action.

The accused had a criminal past. A case of assault has been registered against Ashish at Sayajiganj police station in 2015.  Somersis was sentenced to five years in prison in the 2003 Ashutosh abduction case.
