Vadodara Congress unveiled the manifesto on the theme ‘Become a Congress supporter, elect a corporator’, promising good roads and jobs after regain power. Tamradhwaj Sahu incharge of Gujarat announced the manifesto for the municipal elections along with senior leaders of the party.
Political parties have released their manifestos for the upcoming Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections schedule on February 21. The Congress party also released its election-oriented affidavit on Tuesday. Gujarat incharge Tamradhwaj Sahu was present in the press conference accompanied by Congress leaders including Vadodara city president Prashant Patel, former MP Satyajit Gaekwad, Ranjit Chavan and Rutvij Joshi. All unveiled the Congress manifesto to the media.
The manifesto issued on the occasion included issuing Gujarite cards to the citizens for government facilities, constructing service corridors with the help of rainwater disposal experts, rebuilding broken roads within a week after coming to power, reducing property tax by up to 50 per cent, one year for tax-exemption to businesses suffered during Corona era, vacancies will be filled within 24 hours after coming to power, contract-outsourcing practice will be abolished, Vishwamitri river purification, green belt area, 50% concession to students, women and senior citizens, enforcement of street vendor policy.
