Twins lost their mother since birth defeat corona

Will go home after getting full recovery

The twins, who lost their mother after being born a month and a half ago defeat corona after having 15 days of treatment at paediatric ward of the SSG hospital in Vadodara. They will now go home after get the full recovery from the virus.

The father of the children works in a private company. A quarter and month ago, his wife gave birth to healthy twins at the Rukmini Chinani Maternity Hospital in SSG. The mother as well as the family was overjoyed with the birth of twins.

However, the happiness was shortened as after giving birth to twins, the mother died and the family shocked to hear the news.

After the mother died both children were given artificial milk with necessary treatment by the hospital. The newborn twins were discharged after they recovered.

Meanwhile, the 15-day-old infants were brought to the pediatric ward of Sayaji Hospital with diarrhea and vomiting. The twins were subjected to covid tests before treatment and tested positive. They were under supervision of Dr. Sheila Iyer head of the pediatric department. After two weeks of intense treatment both children are recovered and defeat the deadly coronavirus.

Dr. Iyer said the infants get the infection from their father as he was also tested positive for the virus.

She further said that the twins who defeated Corona are now one and a half months old. Special care was taken by all the staff as the twins lost their mother within hours of birth. The infants have become favorite of the staff and will be discharged after full recovery.

The father and family are very eager to take home the children who have lost their mother. The staff treating and caring the twins also get emotional as they will be discharged in the next few days. The twins are currently healthy and is under the care of doctors.
