Yash Calls ‘Toxic’ a Learning Experience on Desire and Sensuality, Praises Geetu Mohandas’ Vision

Yash recently opened up about his upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ at CinemaCon, describing it as a significant learning experience, especially in understanding emotions, desire, and sensuality from a fresh perspective. The actor credited director Geetu Mohandas for bringing a rare “female gaze” to a large-scale action film, something he noted is uncommon in the Indian film industry.

He highlighted that the film blends gangster drama with a unique emotional depth, offering a refreshing take on storytelling. Yash also praised Mohandas for her strong conviction and writing skills, saying he gained valuable insights into how women portray romance and emotions differently on screen.

‘Toxic’ features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. Produced on a massive budget of ₹700–800 crore, the film is among India’s most expensive projects and has already generated buzz for its bold themes and innovative approach.
