Ahmedabad, Gujarat | : As affordability and return on investment become key considerations for students planning to study abroad, The WorldGrad, in collaboration with GradNetic Global Campuses, successfully concluded a series of Spot Admissions events across Ahmedabad, Anand and Vadodara, bringing together more than 100 students and their parents to explore international education opportunities, receive personalised admission guidance and learn about scholarships designed to make global degrees more accessible.

The three-city initiative enabled aspiring students to engage with international education experts, understand admission requirements, receive profile-based counselling and explore undergraduate programs offered by leading universities across the United Kingdom & Australia. The sessions also helped families better understand admission timelines, scholarship opportunities and structured pathways that allow students to begin their global education journey with greater confidence.

Students also learnt about The WorldGrad’s Global Year 1 and UK Advanced Accelerator Programs, which enable students to begin their international degree journey in India before progressing to partner universities overseas. These structured pathways offer students greater academic flexibility while helping reduce the overall cost of studying abroad.

A key highlight of the Ahmedabad event was the participation of representatives from leading international universities, including De Montfort University (UK), Macquarie University (Australia), University of Sunderland (UK) and University of Wollongong (Australia). Students had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives, gain insights into academic programmes, admissions processes and career opportunities, while Anand and Vadodara focused on personalised counselling and admission support.

Alongside admission guidance, students were introduced to scholarship opportunities aimed at reducing the financial burden of pursuing international education.

As part of the initiative, GradNetic is inviting applications for its Young Scholar Hunt, offering up to 100% first-year tuition scholarship to students across Gujarat. Open to students aged 16–19 years, the scholarship recognises talent beyond academic performance by evaluating qualities such as leadership, creativity, communication skills, problem-solving ability and overall future potential.

Students can also benefit from a range of merit-based scholarships available through The WorldGrad, including the SmartGrad Scholarship, Director’s Merit Award and university-specific scholarships offered by partner institutions across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and the UAE. Together with scholarships offered by The WorldGrad and GradNetic’s Young Scholar Hunt, students can also access university-funded scholarships worth up to USD 80,000 at select leading global universities, significantly lowering the cost of obtaining an international degree.

The event also celebrated the success of Jia, a student from Vadodara and a graduate of The WorldGrad’s Global Year 1 Program, who recently secured a USD 15,000/year scholarship along with her Australian student visa. Her journey highlighted how structured international pathways, combined with personalised academic support, can help students successfully transition to leading overseas universities.

Speaking about the initiative, Tarang Patel, Co-Founder, GradNetic Global Campuses, said: “The response across Ahmedabad, Anand and Vadodara reflects the growing aspiration among students in Gujarat to pursue international education. At the same time, families are placing greater emphasis on affordability and long-term value. Through our Global AdmissionDay and the Young Scholar Hunt, we aim to provide students with the right guidance and financial support so they can confidently pursue global education opportunities.”

Speaking about the importance of early guidance and accessible international pathways, Amit Garga, Co-Founder, The WorldGrad, said: “Students and parents today are beginning their international education planning much earlier than before. They are looking for pathways that combine academic quality, affordability and strong career outcomes. By bringing together personalised admission support, global university partnerships and scholarships under one initiative, we are helping students make informed decisions while reducing the financial barriers associated with studying abroad.”

The events witnessed strong participation from students and parents, with many opting for one-on-one counselling sessions to evaluate programme options, scholarship opportunities and admission timelines. Students showed particular interest in Business, Computer Science and Engineering, while parents sought greater clarity on affordability, scholarships and long-term return on investment.

Applications for the Young Scholar Hunt are now open. Interested students can learn more about eligibility criteria, scholarship benefits and application details through GradNetic Global Campuses.

As international education continues to evolve, initiatives that combine expert counselling, direct university engagement, flexible study pathways and meaningful financial support are helping make global education more accessible for students across Gujarat while preparing them for successful international careers.
