To elevate the safety, convenience and experience of pedestrians and cyclists, students of Parul Institute of Design & Parul Institute of Fine Arts of Parul University have conceptualized and executed the first of its own pilot project on the service lane of Akota Bridge.

It will provide a unique cycling experience and a playful recreational space with a colourfully painted track.

Under Cycles4Change as a central theme, it is an initiative of the Vadodara Smart Cities Mission and the project has been completed in association with Meraki Design Studio.

Based on the success of this pilot project, many more corridors will be revamped in other areas in the coming year.
