A man died after allegedly jumping from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Spira tower in Sector 94, Noida, on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar, Haryana. According to police, he had checked into an Airbnb in the building a day before the incident.
A video of the incident has surfaced, showing another person attempting to stop and convince Jain before he went over the railing. Police said Jain died at the spot. His family has been informed, and a post-mortem examination is underway. Police and forensic teams have inspected the location and collected evidence. CCTV footage and statements from people present at the scene are also being examined.
Preliminary inquiries suggest that Jain was under severe financial stress, although police are investigating all possible factors behind the incident. Officials said he had contacted his father several times before the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
