Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has once again proved her class by winning the women’s singles title at the Hylo Open Super 500 tournament in Germany. The two-time Olympic medallist defeated Denmark’s Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt in straight games in the final held on November 1, 2026. Sindhu secured a convincing 21-12, 21-14 victory in just 39 minutes.

Ranked World No. 8, Sindhu dominated the match with her powerful strokes, excellent court coverage and consistent performance. She entered the final as the second seed with a 6-1 head-to-head record against the Danish player. This victory marks Sindhu’s second BWF World Tour title of 2026, following her Japan Open Super 750 triumph in July. She had also reached the French Open final last week, finishing as runner-up.

With this win, Sindhu earned 9,200 valuable ranking points, strengthening her chances of qualifying for the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals. Her back-to-back appearances in major tournament finals highlight her strong comeback and improving form as the badminton season approaches its conclusion.
