Neuberg Supratech launches Asia’s largest COVID-19 RTPCR “Drive through” testing at GMDC Ground with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
The residents will be able to give their samples while seated in their vehicle. The report will be generated within 24-36 hours and shared through WhatsApp, SMS or email. The drive through will operate from 8 AM to 8PM
India, April 14, 2021: One of India’s leading diagnostic laboratories, Neuberg Supratech, announced the launch of Drive-Through Testing Facility at the GMDC Ground in collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today. The software is developed by Sufalam Solutions Pvt Ltd. This is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the state to assist in ramping up COVID-19 RTPCR testing capacity. Ten collection stations have been installed at the grounds.
Under this drive-through initiative, passengers and drivers can undergo COVID-19 RTPCR testing quickly and conveniently without having to get out of their vehicles at government approved rates of Rs. 800/-. A nasal or throat swab sample will be taken through the car window, and the entire process (drive-in entry to exit) will take approximately 10 minutes.
Commenting on this development, Dr Sandip Shah, Executive Director, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, said, “As the cases are increasing exponentially, the drive-through concept works as a great tool to fast-track sample collection. It also ensures social distancing while collecting the samples. This unique initiative will bring relief for the specially-abled, elderly and those who need quick service per convenience.”

At GMDC Ground in Vastrapur Area, samples will be collected for 12 hours – from 8 am till 8 pm, there will be a recess time between 1PM to 2PM in between. The company expects that people will drive through till 7 PM to avoid end moment rush. The report will be generated within 24-36 hours and shared through WhatsApp, SMS or email.
