Two teams of 06 BN National Disaster Management Force, based at Jarod near Vadodara are currently deployed in Udaipur, Rajasthan, corresponding to the monsoon.
Regardless of the flood situation in Kota and Baran districts of Rajasthan, these teams have been assigned the responsibility of conducting rescue operations in these villages.
The troops rescued 145 villagers from the floodwaters of the Parvati River at Sunda village on the border of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh with the help of boats and rescue equipments.
According to Anupam, deputy commander of the battalion, in addition to the rescue operation carried out by Team 11 in Marwarsakh village of Sangod taluka of Kota district, the team rescued 5 men, 9 women and 12 children as well as one animal and took them to a safe place.
