Four weather systems have become active over Gujarat, increasing the likelihood of widespread rainfall across the state. According to the Gujarat Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected between July 30 to August 1, with a heavy to very heavy rainfall warning issued for August 1.
The department has indicated that South Gujarat is likely to receive the highest amount of rainfall during this period. Residents, especially those in low-lying areas, have been advised to remain alert and follow weather updates and official advisories as the conditions may lead to waterlogging and localized flooding.
