The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) will focus on enhancing the stature of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) and broadening its global footprint, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He spoke at the Vibrant Gujarat Success Summit, a commemorative event marking two decades of VGGS.

GIFT City is already home to India’s inaugural International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), akin to financial hubs in Dubai and Singapore.

PM Modi underscored the importance of such financial and technological institutions in today’s interconnected world.

The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) in January 2024 will focus on strengthening GIFT City, according to PM Narendra Modi. 

GIFT City, which houses India's first international financial services center (IFSC), is growing in relevance and reflects a whole of government approach.

PM Modi emphasized the need to make GIFT City a globally competitive financial marketplace and expand its global presence by leveraging India's large domestic demand.

PM Narendra Modi to preside over event to celebrate 20 years of 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit' in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be presiding over an event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Ahmedabad.

The summit, launched by Modi when he was chief minister, has become a premier business summit known for its proactive and investor-friendly approach.The event will see the participation of diplomats, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and students.

The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, has launched a website, mobile application, and brochure for the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS). 

The summit, scheduled for January 10 to 12, 2024, will be themed "Gateway to the Future" and aims to foster knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships.

Leading up to the summit, there will be events in all 33 districts of the state, as well as in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, and Rajkot. The state government plans to hold roadshows to promote the summit both in India and abroad.
