Vadodara police reconstructed the entire incident happened inside a land dealer house in Sonali society at Karelibaug. The gang involved in a robbery of cash, gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 2.63 lakh, told police that they drop the idea of first robbery after neighbour woke up and later another attempt was made after fifteen minutes to carry out the plan.
It is to be mentioned that, on August 2, the accused included the house maid Dimple Soni and her companions Arjun Kharwa, Ritesh Godadiya and Sanjay Rawal robbed inside the house of Jaideep Gore in Sonali Society on VIP road in Karelibaug. They entered inside the broke open the back door and entered the house. They took his mother hostage who was doing puia and robbed cash and jewellery from the house and fled. However one was caught by the security guard and later police after his interrogation caught the others in matter of time.
Regarding the reconstruction of the incident, PSI J.D. Taralev of Karelibagh police station said, Police have reconstructed the entire incident, keeping together the gang involved in the robbery. The gang members told that robbery was planned at Dimple Soni's house and met at Kishanwadi before leaving home. From there they went straight to the back of the Gore family home. When they arrived, their neighbors woke up and they were scattered. Later they reunited in 15 minutes and entered the house after opened the back door. They then took the senior citizen hostage, robbed cash and jewellery and fled.
