Resident doctors of SSG hospital continue their protest

The resident doctors of SSG Vadodara continue their protest on Friday wearing black clothes and shutting down all services, including emergency services, over their demands. They demand for batch bond period, salary as per 7th pay commission and implementation of SR bond scheme in the state like other states.

The protesting doctors said to keep the bond period of the batch at 1: 2, pay according to the Seventh Pay commission and others. They said, the government did not comply with the order for bonded resident doctors doing Covid duty and issued a new order assigning doctors to duty in remote villages. They demand senior resident doctors to be counted in the bond and paid according to the Seventh Pay Commission.

On Friday they continue their protest and stayed away from emergency duty in view of their demands. They shouted slogans against the government and raised their demands once again. They also threaten to intensify their agitation further.
