On Sunday, the citizens experienced mostly dry weather after three consecutive days of light to moderate rainfall.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the city may experience light showers on Monday.
After relatively dry days on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday may witness light to moderate rains in the city and district, indicated the forecast.
'Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely at isolated places in all districts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra along with parts of Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar,' mentioned the forecast for Monday.
Till 8pm, Mendarda received 120mm of rain, Talala 87mm, Valia 56mm, Kaprada and Vanthali 41mm each, and Keshod 37mm of rain among others. In all, 81 talukas received at least 1mm of rainfall on Sunday.
Till 4pm on Sunday, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) received 14 complaints of waterlogging, three of damaged roads and one of a structure getting damaged due to heavy rains.
The maximum temperature at 35.2 degrees celsius was 0.3 degrees below normal.
