Indian Air Force organises Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav Band Concert at Sabarmati river front

The Indian Air Force organized 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav Band Concert' on 04 August 2021 at the Sabarmati river front, Ahmedabad. The concert was organized to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and its achievements.

The show was also dedicated to the Corona Warriors who have stood strong and have taken care of millions of Indian citizens, despite the COVID pandemic.

The IAF band consisting of 25 musicians was led by Warrant Officer Manoranjan Thakur. The band symbolizes the collaboration, synchronization, ethos and commitment of Air Warriors to their profession. The IAF band team of musicians enthralled the large audience present on the banks of the Sabarmati river, with a bouquet of melodious martial and patriotic songs and instrumental music. A group of COVID Warriors were also felicitated during the event.

Air Vice Marshal Rohit Mahajan, Vayu Sena Medal, Senior Officer-in-charge of Administration, Headquarters South Western Air command along with civil and defence dignitaries were among the audience who graced the occasion and enjoyed the enchanting music of the band.
