Four people were killed in a tragic accident took place near Chuchhapura village in Sankheda taluka of Chhotaudepur district. The accident took place between ST bus and car around 2.30 pm late at night. Locals rushed to the spot following the accident and carried out rescue operations. They informed the police, who rushed to the spot and conducted further investigation.
The bonnet of the car was badly damaged in an accident near Chuchapura in Chhotaudepur. The front was crushed and forced the rescuers to broke the door to exhume the bodies of the dead. Locals smashed the doors and pulled out the bodies, as well as JCB machines were also pressed into service for relief operations and to move the car away.
A preliminary police investigation has revealed that all the victims were from Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh when a white Hyundai Creta car of Madhya Pradesh Passing (MP10 CA 6938) crashed at midnight. Police are conducting further investigations in the matter.
S.T. bus was found to be of Kalawad-Rajkot-Chhotaudepur route. The car was badly crashed in the accident. However, no casualties were reported among the passengers aboard the bus. People trapped in the car were evacuated and all four bodies have been taken to Sankheda Government Hospital for postmortem.
