Former state president Arjun Modhwadia visited Kamati Bagh Sankalp Bhoomi in Vadodara on Monday for the social revolution campaign as part of Congress run various programs on community-oriented issues in the city. He along with all took oath to walk on the path shown by Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar. On this occasion, the former state president said that the government of Gujarat is violating social justice and rights.

He further said that the rights of tribals, dalits have been taken away and are occupying tribal lands. The rights given by Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar have also been taken away. He target the government for moving towards privatisation in medical, education, jobs and taken away the rights of people. Arjun Modhwadhiya wished a happy Tribal Day on August 9 and appealed to the government to make arrangements for a society where the last man gets justice.

He took oath to do everything for the progress and upliftment of backward dalits and tribals by giving them justice and making them equal to society.

Former state president Arjun Modhwadia said that over the last nine days, various programs were given by the Congress to give voice to people-oriented issues. In all these programs, members of the Congress family joined the people and gave a voice to them. In coming days the Congress will continue to fight for the people.

Regarding the resident doctors' strike, Arjun Modhwadia said, "It is unfortunate that the doctors announced by the government as corona warriors have to go on strike for their demands. In the second wave of corona, doctors have served patients at the risk of their lives. The government should consider the demand of doctors and come up with a suitable solution. The lives of the patients are in danger due to the movement of the doctors.

A large number of Congress leaders and activists including Vadodara City Congress President Prashant Patel, District Congress President Sagar Brahmbhatt (Coco), Leader of Opposition Ami Rawat, former Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Srivastava (Bhattu), former MP Satyajit Gaekwad and Congress corporators were present at Sankalp Bhoomi.
