Drawing competition under the 'Mobile to Sports' campaign
Organise at district level from 23 August to 15 September and State level drawing competition will be held on September 24
The state government has taken a new initiative of 'Mobile to Sports' campaign with an aim of empowering the youth of Gujarat with yoga and physical activities with the use of current mobile technology. The scheme will attract youngsters for sports activities by introducing details, audio / video clips of famous players through media including 'Mobile to Sports' Facebook page, YouTube channel, radio quiz, picture competition, television as well as social media.
Rakshabandhan drawing competition has been organized by the office of Gujarat State Academy of Fine Arts and District Youth Development Officer under the Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities. Children from 8 to 13 years will be able to participate in the competition.
The contestants prepared their work on the subject of 'Rakshabandhan' on A4 size drawing paper have to send their entries to District Youth Development Officer, District Sports Office at Narmada Bhuvan in Vadodara.
10 winning artists will be selected from the state level drawing competition. The first winner will get Rs. 25,000, the second winner will get Rs. 15,000 as well as Rs. 10,000 to the third winner and the remaining seven winners (each) will get Rs. 5000 consolation prizes
