In a significant display of solidarity, members of the Bharuch Bar Association organized a rally today from the court complex to the collector's office, demanding an expedited trial and stringent punishment for the accused in the tragic rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl, referred to as 'Nirbhaya'.

The young victim, a resident of Bharuch, was subjected to a brutal gang rape, which ultimately led to her death during treatment. The horrific nature of the incident has sent shockwaves throughout the state, prompting the Bar Association to take a stand. 

During the rally, members presented a petition to the collector, emphasizing the urgent need for a speedy trial and advocating for severe penalties for the perpetrators.

Bharuch Bar Association President Pradyumansinh Sindha, along with numerous legislators, lent their support to the demonstration, underscoring the collective demand for justice.

In addition to seeking a prompt judicial process, the Bar Association called for regular public awareness campaigns to educate the community on such critical issues.

Furthermore, the Association reiterated its stance that no lawyer would represent the accused in this case, highlighting their commitment to seeking justice for the victim and raising awareness about the grave matter of violence against children.

As the community rallies for change, the call for justice in the Nirbhaya case echoes throughout Bharuch, reflecting a broader demand for safety and accountability in society.
