Ankleshwar: Police arrested a smuggler gang involved in Steel Fab Equipment Company robbery

Investigations revealed that the gang had targeted the company three times within just 15 days.

Between March 9 and March 24, the accused entered the company's storeroom by breaking the sheet shed, stealing stainless steel goods worth ₹3.92 lakh before fleeing. The entire theft was captured on the company’s CCTV cameras, aiding the police in their investigation.

The GIDC police successfully arrested eight accused, including six individuals living in a slum near D-Mart. Among them were the buyer and receiver of the stolen goods. The police have also recovered the stolen materials.

2.  Anwar Udesingbhai Rathwa – Residing near Railway Line, Slum Patti, Patel Nagar, behind D-Mart, Ankleshwar
3. Arun Hareshbhai Vasava – Same as above
4. Mukesh Thakorbhai Jogi – Same as above
5. Satish Prabhatbhai Rathwa – Same as above
6. Rahul Mukeshbhai Vasava – Same as above
7. Ashishkumar Satyanarayan Sahu – Resident of Samata Society, Sarangpur
8. Mukesh Ramanbhai Tadvi – Same as above

The police continue their investigation to determine if the gang was involved in other crimes in the area.
