Exactly a week is left for the release of Pushpa 2 – The Rule and the excitement is considerable. The makers had a race against time as they shot for the film until recently.
But with meticulous planning, they managed to get the shoot as well as the post-production completed on time. They also completed the censor process successfully.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film’s original Telugu version. The Examining Committee of the CBFC, however, asked for a few cuts.
Then the scene of an amputated leg flying was asked to be removed. In another scene, the protagonist is seen holding a severed arm of a person. Here, the CBFC asked the makers to zoom on the protagonist so that the violent bit is not shown on the screen.
Once these changes were made, a U/A certificate was handed over to the makers of Pushpa 2 – The Rule.
The duration of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 200.38 minutes. In other words, the Allu Arjun-starrer is 3 hours 20 minutes and 38 seconds long.
The earlier part, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 (2021), had a run time of 179 minutes.
