Veteran actor Sathyaraj has reportedly been hospitalised to a private hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. He is well known for his role as Katappa in the 'Baahubali' film serial.

According to reports, he had acute symptoms and is currently being treated in Chennai.

After testing positive for the virus, the 67-year-old actor was placed in home isolation.

Fans of Sathyaraj have been posting well wishes on social media sites, wishing for the actor's quick recovery from COVID-19.

Not only him, but several other celebrities have recently tested positive for the new coronavirus. COVID-19 had previously infected Vishal Dadlani, Kubbra Sait, Madhur Bhandarkar, Mithila Palkar, Mahesh Babu, and Swara Bhasker, among others.
