An employee of a three-storey RR Fruits shop near Khanderao Market in Vadodara city died after trapped in the elevator at the shop. The family members were informed about the incident and they took the body home. However, the police start process to get the body for investigation.

As per available details, Kanhabhai Bharwad lives with family at Danteshwar area in the city. About 15 days ago, he got a job in RR Fruit near Khanderao Market. On Saturday afternoon, Rameshbhai, the owner of the fruit shop, was resting in a chair above his counter. An employee named Sanjay was working while Kanha Bharwad took the fruits to the third floor in the elevator. Meanwhile, a sudden noise came and Sanjay rushed towards it and shocked to see Kanha get killed after his head stuck in the elevator.

The shop owner was also stunned to see the incident as blood spread in the area. On the other hand, about fifteen people rushed to the shop after reporting the incident to Kanha Bharwad’s family. The incident was reported to the Navapura police, who rushed to the spot. However, before the police arrived, the family members took Kanha’s body for the funeral.

The police team reached the shop and immediately rushed to the house of the deceased and proceedings were undertaken to obtain possession of the body for legal action. The incident, which took place this afternoon, had spread fear in the area. Navapura police have registered a case of accidental death, obtained CCTV footage and are conducting further investigation in the case.
