Amid the nationwide outrage over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, political activity in Gujarat has remarkably slowed.
In a surprising move on Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party announced new district-level presidents in Ahmedabad city, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Porbandar and Vadodara.
District party presidents announced:
Kheda- Nayana Patel
Vadodara- Rasik Prajapati
Porbandar- Dr Chetna Ruparel (Tiwari)
Panchmahal- Mayank Desai
Gandhinagar- Ashish Dave
A source confirmed that the Ahmedabad city party president and of other districts as expected in a few hours today.
The long-delayed cabinet expansion is expected anytime soon.
