Television actress Mahhi Vij broke down emotionally on Bigg Boss 20 while speaking about her daughter Tara and her decision to refuse alimony from her estranged husband, actor Jay Bhanushali.
Mahhi revealed that during their divorce proceedings, the judge reportedly asked her four times to reconsider her decision and accept financial support. However, she refused, saying that the money was hard-earned by Jay and that she wanted to secure her daughter’s future through her own efforts.
The actress explained that being a mother is her biggest responsibility and that she wants to raise Tara independently. She also shared that her life revolves around her daughter, while Jay has encouraged her to take time for herself and enjoy life beyond motherhood.
