India and Afghanistan began their three-match T20 International series on September 13 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The series is being played from September 13 to 17, with all three matches scheduled at the same venue.

Afghanistan scored 156 runs, while India chased down the target in just 13.4 overs. Abhishek Sharma was the star of the match, scoring 82 runs from 32 balls, helping India take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The second T20I will be played on September 15, followed by the third match on September 17. Both matches are also scheduled to start at 7 PM IST.
