1202 Covid patients admitted in one month at the extension facility of Gotri Hospital in Atalara Vadodara

Extraordinary decisions are made only in similar situations. Extensive treatment facility was started at BAPS Satsang venue at Atalara exactly one month ago to ease the burden of Gotri Hospital is one such decision. During one month 1202 Covid patients were admitted at this facility. Officer on special duty Dr. Vinod Rao said it was launched on a war footing in just four to five days.

He said that during his one month tenure, the hospital has made a significant contribution in the fight against Covid. It has helped to avoid situations where a patient coming have to wait in an ambulance or return without treatment.

Till date, more than 1202 patients have been admitted to the facility out of which a total of 745 patients have been discharged, including 687 who have recovered. 161 have been sent to other hospitals from here. Team Gotri deserves congratulations and salute for making this system a success by making extraordinary use of its human and other resources.
