At least five people were shot on Tuesday following an attack on a school in Orebro, Sweden. Reportedly, the attacker is believed to be among those injured.
Emergency services responded immediately after the alert. Reportedly, the shooting took place inside the school.
The four among those injured had to undergo surgeries, with one of them in a serious condition.
The shooting took place in Orebro, some 200 km west of Stockholm, at the Risbergska school for adults who did not complete their formal education or failed to get the grades to continue to higher education.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said that it is "a very painful day for all of Sweden.
So far the police has confirmed that the attacker is a man. "We are investigating the incident," said the police without divulging more information.
Police are yet to confirm if there are any casualties.
