Vadodara police have nabbed a man who was working as a contract driver in Narmada Nigam for for ferrying liquor with his wife. He is using the Government Of Gujarat written Tata Sumo car for this crime.

As per the details Naresh Vankar, a resident of Navayard area of ​​the city is working as a contract driver in Narmada Nigam. During the holidays he had the Government of Gujarat White sumo vehicle with him. In routine days, Naresh used to take the officers of Narmada Nigam in this vehicle to work. But during the holidays he used to make his wife a officer and roam around with her.

Not only that Naresh was also going to fetch domestic liquor with his wife in the same government vehicle. Meanwhile on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti there was holiday in government offices and getting a chance, Naresh was returning home with liquor along with his wife. Fategunj police surveillance squad received perfect information about his actions and based in that the team stopped the vehicle and found five litre of country made liquor.

Police had registered a case against Naresh and his wife and started a preliminary investigation. It was revealed that Naresh with the same modus operandi ferried liquor in two to three times in the government vehicle. Police have registered a case against Naresh and his wife at the Fategunj police station and initiated legal action after arresting the couple.
