Vadodara LCB and rural district police solved the robbery case happened near Kandari

Arrest one and declare another as wanted

Vadodara Local Crime Branch and rural district police caught one accused in the robbery happened on highway near Kandari village under Karjan police station. The team seized items worth 4.24 lakhs from the accused. Another one involved in the crime is declared as wanted by the police.

As per available details on 17th March 2021 a resident of Surat Sandeep Mehta was heading towards Vadodara with his family in his innova along with the driver. It was late evening and he stopped the vehicle near Kandari village on Bharuch Vadodara track. All of a sudden two unknown persons rushed to him and threatened to kill them by showing a air gun and knife. They robbed the family with gold jewellery worth 6 lakhs, cash 7500 and fled from the spot.

Based on the complaint the teams began investigation with the help of human intelligence and cctv footage. LCB team prepare sketch of the accused on basis of description given by the complainant and also get to know about the sports bike like two wheeler in possession with the accused.

All investigating team with the details access cctv cameras installed in possible routes, hotels, companies, highway authority and toll plaza around 150 kilometers area. They also kept in mind the sketches and bike description given by the complainant.

The team gets information about the accused coming from Ahmedabad side and get details about the gangs involved in similar offences. With the help of informers and technical sources the team get details of Shravan Oad and Ashok Oad resides at Chaapra, Ghoghabhai Thakor brickkiln at Dholka Ahmedabad and their involvement in the crime.

LCB and other teams raid the spot and found Shravan Oad from there. During investigation he revealed about committed the crime along with Ashok Oad. The team found the jewellery from the spot hid inside the pit nearby. The team is also investigate about the motorcycles used in the crime. Ashok Oad is declared as wanted in the crime.
