The Vadodara fire brigade has started sealing five more high-rise buildings for the second day today as part of the fire brigade’s crackdown on managers violating fire safety regulations in high-rise buildings in the city.

In Gujarat, many people lost their lives due to recent fire incidents in Corona hospitals, tuition classes and high-rise buildings. Against this, the High Court had directed the state government to strictly enforce fire safety rules in every city and also issued a circular.

As per the instructions of Municipal Commissioner P. Swaroop, Deputy Commissioner Dhaval Pandya and Chief Fire Officer Parth Brahmbhatt, for the second day in a row, different teams of fire brigade have started proceedings against the operators of commercial complexes in Vadodara city who did not take NOC of fire safety.

In Vadodara city, it was decided to take action against the operators of multi-storied commercial buildings which have not even got fire safety NOC. As part of which sealing operation was started two days ago.

Today on the second day, the fire brigade team of Vadodara Municipal Corporation sealed the multi-storey building of Profit Center, Hardik Chamber at Sayajiganj and cut off the electricity connection. The fire brigade team sealed five high-rise buildings in Sayajiganj and Alkapuri areas.
