The crime branch busted the scam of making bogus mark sheets and degree certificates of Maharaja Sayajirao University and Parul University near Vadodara. Police arrested one accused with bogus mark sheets and degree certificates involved in the scam. This same accused was also caught in the bogus mark sheet scam in the year 2018.

City Crime Branch P.I. J.J. Patel and A.B. Jadeja said, crime branch PSI A.R. Chaudhary received information about a person living in New Sama Road Abhilasha Society was involved in making bogus mark sheets and certificates of MSU and Parul university with the help of computer photoshop and Coral draw software. Based on the information, the staff of Myursinh, Vikasbhai, Bipinbhai, Vinodbhai, Kanubhai, Nitinbhai carried out the raid at the place and arrested Mukesh Hiralal Parmar.

Police also recovered six fake mark sheets and one degree certificate of Parul University, one blank mark sheet of MSU, one stamp of Vidyakunj school, computer, printer, stamp, colour papers of the size of mark sheet, mobile phone and others from the spot.

Crime Branch PI J.J. Patel said the team is investigating how many mark sheets and degree certificates of M.S. University and Parul University was sold by the accused Mukesh Parmar and the money he earned. He was earlier caught by the Manjalpur police in the year 2018 in the same bogus mark sheet scam. The police is the process to seek his remand and further investigation is on in the matter.
