Fire brigade continue search for the missing youths

Two youths from Vadodara drowned and went missing in the Narmada Canal passing near Rampura in Waghodia taluka.  Three youths, including the two missing, took an auto rickshaw to order palm fronds.

As per avaliable details three youths, including Bhavesh Parmar and Rakesh Mali, who lives near Vinayakpura near Atalara in Vadodara, went to Rampura village in Waghodia taluka to order palm leaves in the current summer season. The family selling palm leaves, asked them to take them after ten days. The three friends were returning back after place the orders.

Meanwhile, Bhavesh went inside the Narmada Canal passing near Rampura village to wash his feet. He slipped and fell into the flowing water of the canal. His friend Rakesh Mali jumped into the canal to save him but both of them drowned. 

Meanwhile, a police team rushed to the spot immediately after another friend reported the incident to Waghodia police. The locals also rushed to the spot to search for the youths. Fire brigade also reached the spot after police informed and they began search for the missing youth in the Narmada Canal.  The NDRF team was also being called in to join the search. However, the missing youth was not found till late at night.

A pall of gloom spread in the Atladara area over the incident of drowning of two youths inside the Narmada Canal.
