Train speed increased on line 1 and 2 of Vadodara station

Engineering block was taken from December 16 for ballasted track replacement work with CC apron to increase the speed of train on Line 1 and 2.

After the completion of this block, which lasted 56 days, now the speed of the train is increased from 15 to 50 km per hour on lines 1 and 2 of the platform of Vadodara station. This kind of work will have many advantages with the development of infrastructure under the division.

1) About 3-4 minutes will be saved for each train running on line 1 and 2.

2) Due to ballasted track replacement with CC apron, there will be no need to take the block anymore.

3) After the CC apron, the cleaning budget will decrease and the water requirement will also be reduced.

4) The traffic load at the station will be less, besides safety will also increase.
