In December last year, OpenAI announced that users can now talk to ChatGPT on WhatsApp, the popular Meta-owned instant messaging platform.
Similar to how you would use the dedicated ChatGPT app, the AI-powered chatbot on WhatsApp can answer all queries, but features like image generation and voice mode were still limited to the app and web version of the service.
According to Android Authority, OpenAI recently announced that WhatsApp users will now be able to send images to ChatGPT to get information about it.
As it turns out, you can also send voice notes to the AI chatbot, which will then convert it into text to process and answer user queries.
In the coming days, the company said that paid ChatGPT users will also be able to sign in to their account on WhatsApp, which will let them access premium perks on the go.
One thing to note here is that talking to ChatGPT on a phone line does not require users to have an account or subscribe to a paid plan.
