HP has introduced a new range of Copilot+ PCs in India, expanding its lineup with multiple laptops designed to deliver AI-powered experiences directly on-device.
The launch includes updated models from the HP EliteBook, ProBook, and OmniBook series, each tailored for different kinds of users—from enterprise professionals to content creators.
These new machines come equipped with processors from Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm, and feature dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) capable of handling between 40 to 55 trillion operations per second.
This allows AI features to work locally without depending on the internet, promising faster performance and better privacy.
Among the highlights are HP’s in-built AI tools like the AI Companion, myHP software, and the Poly Camera Pro — all are said to be designed to boost productivity and communication.
Users can expect support for real-time file analysis, voice clarity improvements, and intelligent camera features for video calls.
The new HP EliteBook range, starting at Rs 87,440, is geared towards business users. It includes the EliteBook 8 and 6 series, along with the ProBook 4, and offers features like long battery life, enterprise-grade security, and noise reduction tools for meetings.
On the other hand, the new OmniBook series caters to users who work in content creation, graphic design, and online collaboration. Starting at Rs 78,999, the lineup includes the OmniBook Ultra 14, 5 16, 7 Aero 13, and X 14.
HP says its AI Companion will work offline to help users quickly find information across files. Meanwhile, Poly Camera Pro turns any video call into a professional setup with support for multi-camera views, background effects, and streaming-friendly features.
Another addition, Poly Audio, filters ambient noise and adjusts volume to ensure clear conversations, even in noisy surroundings.
The company is positioning this launch as part of its larger vision to support India's role in the global AI shift.
