Ducati recently unveiled a new electric scooter model, claiming it to be their most technologically advanced to date. With the help of the Centro Stile Ducati, the new PRO-III electric scooter was developed by the license and commercial partner MT Distribution. NFC technology, a contactless connection mechanism, is used to turn on the PRO-III. In reality, the PRO-III is fitted with a token that allows you to start the scooter only by bringing it close to the display, allowing only the chip's owner to operate the vehicle.
The vehicle's technical specifications include a 350W brushless motor with a peak output of 515W and a 468Wh improved battery with a claimed range of up to 50 km on a single charge. The scooter has 10′′ wheels with tubeless anti-puncture tyres. There are double front and rear disc brakes, as well as LED lighting on the braking system.
The scooter's display has an USB port for charging your smartphone or other gadgets while it's in use. Users can stay constantly updated on the main functions and performance of the vehicle, such as battery charge level, distance travelled, and the last known position, thanks to the Ducati Urban e-mobility App, designed and developed by Italdesign, a service company for the mobility industry known all over the world and part of the Volkswagen group like Ducati. Technical assistance services can also be accessed in real time, even via WhatsApp chat.
The PRO-III is available from Ducati dealers and the official Ducati e-shop, as well as consumer and specialty electronics stores and major online retailers.
