At 13:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 43.11 points or 0.06% to 76,736.47. The Nifty 50 index rose 48.90 points or 0.21% to 23,339.05
Sensex closed 328.48 points, or 0.45 per cent higher at 73,104.61 while Nifty inched 118.55 points, or 0.54 per cent higher at 22,222.60
At 12:27 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 208.82 points or 0.28% to 74,892.52
