On March 10, Microsoft announced that effective May 27, 2025, it will discontinue support for its Remote Desktop app available through the Microsoft Store, and replace it with a more advanced Windows App.
According to sources latest version of Skype preview includes a hidden string of text that says “Starting in May, Skype will no longer be available, Continue your calls and chats in Teams.”
