Earlier, such trials were done at a speed of 130 kmph at different places before introducing the system in three sections in South Central Railway
Soon after this claim, Indian Railways has marked another feat in this project by building a new 3,209 metre-long tunnel T1 that connects Katra and Reasi stations
The railways will have safety fencing at vulnerable locations for Vande Bharat trains to run at a speed between 110 kmph and 130 kmph and all along the tracks for a speed above 130 kmph
