A 6-foot long crocodile was rescued by the Vadodara GSPCA late at night from a well near a water-filled puddle on the way to Lucky Studio on Halol-Godhra Road after a 7-hour operation. Since there was a crocodile in the well next to the water-filled puddle, the workers of the organization had to rescue the crocodile by draining out the water and with the help of the fire team of Halol municipality.

Gujarat SPCA and Wildlife SOS president Raj Bhavsar said, on Friday they received a call from the RFO of the forest department in Halol taluka about a crocodile in a puddle of water on the way to Lucky Studio on Halol-Godhra road. Their team reached the spot and saw the puddle of water. Due to the presence of well there it made it difficult for the volunteers to rescue the crocodile.

He added the darkness of night and water puddle makes it difficult for them. Three water motors were ordered from Halol Municipality with the help of RFO. The 6-foot-long crocodile was rescued from the well after three motors drained the water from the puddle and was handed over to the Forest Department.

Raj Bhavsar said the help of Halol Municipality fire brigade was also taken to get into the well next to the puddle filled with water. The volunteers get inside and rescued the crocodile after a long seven hours operation.
