Tehran called the offensive “Operation True Promise 4,” describing it as retaliation for US–Israeli strikes that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader.

The offensive has heightened regional tensions, with Gulf nations closely monitoring the situation, activating air defenses, and condemning the escalation.
