Dr. Virendra Singh has become the first teacher from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda's Faculty of Arts to have 4th Copyright registered from the Copyright Officer, Government of India.

Dr. Singh, Assistant Professor at Department of Sociology had applied to the Copyright Office to get "Applied Role" registered as a concept note under the subject of Sociology.

Prior to this Dr. Singh, received Copyright for introducing new approach "Sociology of Prediction" – focused on synthesis of Sciences and two concept notes "Piecemeal Culture"- & "Falsified Historia Socio- Culture"- focused on impact of gap on social knowledge of second generation leading to social conflicts & social change.

Current concept note "Applied Role" was applied for Copyright in first week of December 2020, which means "act of playing role without knowledge that role was planned by others", that is when actor play role without knowledge that he/she is tricked by someone to play that role.

Dr. Singh remained in news for his contribution in academics as well as for social causes. While serving as Warden his works like developing garden and pond by use of waste water, zero tolerance programs for electricity or food wastage, eco-friendly ganpati celebration, best out of waste activities remained inspiration for many.
